Our History

    Orbit School of Management Studies is a college founded and managed by a team of highly qualified, experienced and dedicated professionals in Management, Accountancy, Finance, Information Technology and Business related courses.

    The school aims at uniqueness and excellence in satisfying students with quality, holistic training in all areas of Accounting, Management and Information Technology.

     

    Founded in 2006, the school has constantly strived to embrace best practices in management, innovativeness in curriculum delivery, integrity, professionalism and accountability to the students. We have also greatly emphasized the essence of being ethical and result oriented, goal driven as well as problem solvers.

    We seek to develop capacity in the managers we train and encourage adoption of global standards.

    Our values are in line with needs of employers in all sectors, nationally, regionally and globally and we ensure that, through our qualified teaching staff, we prepare managers of choice for business and non-business organizations.

    Further we seek to open management to people of all backgrounds and help them to make the best out of their inherent and acquired dispositions.

    Orbit school does not operate like an island. We have created networks and linkages with other institutions and organizations for purposes of procurement, regulation, examination, registration, funding of tuition, among other things. In this line, I wish to mention a few stakeholders with whom we relate at different levels. Ministry for Higher Education Science and Technology, City Council of Nairobi, Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examination Board,   suppliers of our permanent and consumable stores, NGOs, numerous sponsors and sponsoring bodies, other government departments, NSSF, NHIF, and the national and regional community from which we draw our students.

    Very soon, we are looking forward to yet more crucial linkage in the form of accreditation and affiliation to one of this country’s and indeed regions best run University.

    With such networking and linkage it is not a wonder that, Orbit School has managed such tremendous growth from its humble beginning at Agriculture House to the market leader, it is today within a fairly short period of about six years.
